Athletic Trainers  
Description: Assist the Athletic Trainer in treating PW athletes during practices and games
Eligibility Requirements: Strong interest in athletic training
Time Commitment: After school and evening games, several days a week
Procedure for Joining: Contact the Athletic Trainer

Bowling      
Description: Both an athletic and activities club, students bowl after school at Facenda Whitaker Lanes in Norristown.
Eligibility Requirements: None, but students must arrange transportation home from the lanes.
Time Commitment: 3:00 – 5:00 PM bi-monthly from October to March

Ski/Snowboarding Club
                 
      
Description: To participate in ski trips to Killington, VT or other destinations of interest
Eligibility Requirements: No first time skiers or boarders! Attend meetings.
Time Commitment: Weekend

Water Polo Club
Description: Students will learn the game of water polo and play games against other club teams.
Eligibility Requirements: Basic swimming skills, desire to learn and improve.
Time Commitment: 2 hour practices after school (Aug-Oct and March-May); games and tournamements.

Weight Room Training                                                    
Description: The weight room is open those students who wish to improve health, self-esteem, or strength.
Eligibility Requirements: None
Time Commitment: Dependent on personal goals
Procedure for Joining: Report to weight room which is open immediately after school daily
Sponsor: Ms. Moyer & Mr. Tornetta

 

WET (Water Education Training)                
Description: Students enrolled in this course work with 4th grade students from Colonial Elementary School and assist in teaching water safety, water games, swim strokes.
Eligibility Requirements: Swimming skills, life guarding course and submission of application
Time Commitment: 1 period daily for 1 semester
Procedure for Joining: Submit application and schedule course

Yoga Club                                                    
Description: Students will learn the basics of vinayasa flow yoga, which describes how the different yoga poses run together in a fluid motion. 
Eligibility Requirements: Students of all levels are welcome, yoga practice benefits students of all abilities.
Time Commitment: Yoga Club will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
