Commencement is our most celebrated event at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. It reflects the achievements and accomplishments of a class of talented young men and women. We take pride in our event and hope that the families and friends in attendance assist us in maintaining the decorum our graduates deserve. We go to great lengths to ensure proper attire and conduct on the part of our graduates. In turn, we respectfully request that parents and guests assist us in making this a respectful event of which we can all be proud. Therefore, we ask that when students' names are called and they walk across the stage, that their family and friends refrain from whistling and other boisterous behavior including the sounding off of cowbells and air horns. These inappropriate behaviors often negatively affect the students whose names are called immediately afterwards. We also ask you to be cognizant of those around you and refrain from standing and obstructing the view of guests seated behind you. We appreciate your attention to these guidelines and look forward to celebrating this joyous occasion with you.
