Mrs. Ann Carracappa
CMS Class of 2013 School Counselor

 

Mrs. Carracappa has been a counselor in the Colonial School District since 1993. Prior to working at Colonial Middle School, she was a Counselor at Ridge Park Elementary, Conshohocken Elementary  and Whitemarsh Elementary Schools. She attended Seton Hall University for her undergraduate studies and earned a B. S. in Psychology.   Mrs. Carracappa attended Villanova University for graduate school, where she earned a Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Relations. She also taught in the School Counseling Program at Gwynedd-Mercy College. Mrs. Carracappa is married with three children and loves being a part of CMS.

 

 

 



Mr. Matthew Doroshow
CMS Class of 2014 School Counselor

Mr. Doroshow joined the CMS staff at the outset of the 2004-05 school year. He attended Penn State University for undergrad and Rider University for graduate school. He began his career serving as Junior High and High School counselor in the Bristol Township School District in 1994-95 and 1995-96. Between 1996 and 2004 he served as a counselor at Ridley Middle School (Ridley Park, PA). Mr. Doroshow is the Faculty Athletic Manager at CMS. He also sponsors the "Hoops for Hope" program that coordinates the Queen/King of the Court Tournaments (which benefit Coaches vs. Cancer) and 4 on 4 for a Cure (which benefits the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia). He also sponsors the Patriot Classic (students vs. staff basketball game). Mr. Doroshow is honored to be a staff member at CMS and be a part of such a wonderful middle school community. 

  

 

Mrs. Ginny Simonetti
CMS Class of 2012 School Counselor

Mrs. Simonetti has been a counselor at Colonial for over twenty years. Before Colonial, Mrs. Simonetti worked as a math/science teacher and teacher therapist at Hilltop Preparatory School. Mrs. Simonetti was working as an educational liason with the Northwestern Psychiatric Institute when she was asked to join the middle school staff. Her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees were completed at West Chester University. She is married, has two daughters and owns two dogs and two cats!
