The Patriot Classic


The Patriot Classic represents the annual students vs. staff basketball game. The game is generally played on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Every year, various staff members volunteer to play in the game. The students are represented by the 8th grade boys and girls basketball teams.

The first game was held in May of 2005. CMS students with perfect behavior (all school year) are invited to attend the game in the gym. CITV (with play-by-play) then broadcasts the game live back to every single room at CMS (and to show on the district channel).
