Math Club                    
Description: Students participate in Math Olympiad and MATHCOUNTS.
Eligibility Requirements: Grades 6-8.
Time Commitment: One activity per week.

National Junior Honor Society
Description: An organization designed to create enthusiasm for scholarship, service and leadership and to develop character
Eligibility Requirements: Distinguished Honor Roll throughout sixth and seventh grade (All A's and one B).
Time Commitment: Monthly meeting attendance and ongoing community service.
Procedure for Joining: A letter of invitation will be sent home to eligible eighth graders the first few weeks of school.

Description: Students read at least six books from a list published through the MCIU and participate in a quiz show competition with students from other schools in the country.
