Terese Boegly joined the Colonial School District in the summer of 2000. She served as the Assistant Principal at Colonial Elementary School during the 2000-2001 school year. She was promoted to Principal of Colonial Elementary School in July of 2001 Prior to joining the Colonial School District, Mrs. Boegly spent thirteen years in the classroom teaching grades third through eighth. She worked with both regular and special education students during her career in the classroom. Boegly enjoyed the challenges that teaching brought. During her final year at Owen J. Roberts, she co-taught a model fourth-grade inclusion class at Vincent Elementary School where she also served as Head Teacher for the building.
Boegly brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Colonial School District. She has extensive expertise in the area of successful instructional practices especially in the area of elementary mathematics. Boegly holds a Masters Degree from West Chester University in Elementary Mathematics Instruction. She completed her undergraduate work there as well. Boegly completed her coursework for her principal’s certification at Penn State, Great Valley. |
