Mike McKenna was appointed assistant principal at Colonial Elementary School in July 2008.  McKenna has been with the Colonial School District since 2002 and has taught both fourth and fifth grade. Most recently was a reading specialist at Colonial Elementary School and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.   

Mr. McKenna holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University. He received his master’s degree and K-12 principal certification from Saint Joseph’s University.  He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Educational Administration from Temple University.
