The middle school science curriculum focuses upon important skills and strategies grounded in inquiry-based learning.  Using the “Understanding by Design” model, the science curriculum actively engages the minds of students with carefully crafted essential and unit questions that stimulate inquiry and lead to enduring understanding of the “big ideas.”  Cooperative Learning activities are implemented to engage students in a variety of tasks.  Students will be prepared for the challenges of high school.
