Welcome to the Technology Education Homepage

Technology Education is an action based educational discipline designed to acquaint all students with an understanding of technology and its impact on society and the environment. Through a hands-on approach to learning, students use materials, tools, processes and knowledge to solve problems and expand their potential. In doing this, technology education extends human potential to adapt, manage, predict, control, and participate in our technological world.

All Technology Education courses offer one or more aspects of the human ability to shape and change the physical world to meet our needs. Studying the impacts of the technological process offers diverse opportunities to challenge, motivate and prepare our students for the ever changing technological society.  Ultimately, the technology education curriculum provides all students a core of mandatory and elected courses that promote an understanding of technology in order to become more informed consumers, business owners and/or employees.
