Floor Hockey Unit
- I. Essential Purpose

In the Floor Hockey Unit students will participate in activities that will evoke physical, emotional and social abilities. The unit incorporates teamwork, offensive-defensive strategies, cooperation, and communication with health-enhancing activity. The Floor Hockey Unit will establish a nucleus for further invasion games. The student’s level of skill, socialization, excitement, and health are increased through execution at stations and game play. Safety procedures are developed through procedural devices such as standardized commands, instructor checklists, and multiple practice opportunities.
