Older students are paired with younger students to build friendships and tolerance at Plymouth Elementary and Ridge Park Elementary Schools.
THE DIVERSITY QUILT PROJECT
Whitemarsh Elementary School students learn about diversity using a Quilt as inspiration.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH LIVING MUSEUM
Annual event at Conshohocken Elementary encourages students to learn about African American heros.
IMMIGRATION DAY
Third grade students experience the immigration process each year at Whitemarsh Elementary.
CELEBRATING CHINESE NEW YEAR
Conshohocken Elementary students discover Chinese culture through hands-on activities.
TEAM BUILDING
Fourth grade students at Colonial Elementary start the year learning how to work together to solve problems.
CHALLENGE DAY
Colonial Middle School encourages students to make good choices and get along through annual Challenge Day activities.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
ESL students face special challenges learning a new language in addition to the standard curriculum.

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School worked with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to increase diversity education and awareness in anticipation of earning certification as a "No Place for Hate" school.
WORLD OF DIFFERENCE INSTITUTE: TEACHERS

Teachers at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School experienced "diversity training" from members of the ADL.

WORLD OF DIFFERENCE INSTITUTE: STUDENTS
Students volunteered to be "peer trainers" and work with other students to have a better understanding of tolerance and diversity awareness.
